“When you want to know how things really work, study them when they’re coming apart.”
– William Gibson
In the Science and Engineering Smart Lab, student scientists will collaborate on inquiry-oriented investigations and projects. Hands-on explorations of an integrated curriculum will take students through physics, chemistry, and biology, while reinforcing their mathematics and reading skills. Students will research and experiment topics such as motion, energy, electricity, matter, density, and molecular biology. Many of the world’s greatest challenges involve science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Our strong emphasis will be placed on STEM careers, including those who work in forensics and engineering.
